A Brief History of ActionScript Flash

Flash ActionScript language until now has come to the ActionScript 3.0 version which is owned by Adobe Flash CS3, CS4, and CS5. Here is a brief history of the enhanced version of ActionScript.

ActionScript 1.0 was first released in Macromedia Flash 5 which is the development of Action in Macromedia Flash 4, and still used Flash MX or Flash 6. Then came ActionScript 2.0 which was released in Macromedia Flash MX 2004 or Flash 7, until the Macromedia Flash 8. As the next generation of ActionScript 1.0 with the benefits that have the ability to compile-time checking, strict-typing on a variable, class-based syntax (formerly the prototype base).

ActionScript 3.0 began to be used in Adobe Flash CS3 or Flash 9, and until now Adobe Flash CS5. ActionScript version 3.0 is in the form of a fundamental restructuring of the previous programming model. Its use is widespread, especially in developing Rich Internet Application or RIA is often called, with the presence of Flex that offer similar things like AJAX, JavaFX, and Microsoft Silverlight.

ActionScript 3.0 introduced in 2006 with the release of Flex 2. Flex enables developers to build applications that require Flash Player. However, Flash offers a more visual interface for developing applications, one more suited to game development.

ActionScript was introduced in 1996 with the release of Flash 4. Has not been called ActionScript, and you can not even type in your code. Instead, you select a report from a series of drop-down menu. Flash 5 in 2000 are rising so the formal introduction of ActionScript 1.0. This scripting language contains all the code and other web-based command language developers, such as Macromedia Director, Lingo, and Sun Java. But, it comes very short in speed and strength.

Flash MX 2004, also known as Flash 7, launched the ActionScript 2.0, which is much more powerful version of the language that makes it easier to create object-oriented program. It's much closer to the ECMA Script, the standard for a programming language developed by the European Computer Manufacturers Association. JavaScript, the programming language used in the browser, also based on the ECMA Script.

ActionScript 3.0 is the culmination of years of development. Because each version of Flash out, developers are encouraged to limit it. The next version takes into account what the developers who use Flash and what are the disadvantages of the current version of the ActionScript that.
